Lift Foils from Puerto Rico is a well-known eSurfboard brand which is around since a decade. Lift Foils E-Surfboard features
The E-Foil of their electric surfboards has a range of 25 - 30 km or one hour driving time and the battery recharges in 2 hours, which makes it possible to drive 3 to 4 times a day. But of course you can also buy extra batteries that can be replaced in just one minute. The waterproof lithium ion battery is powered by advanced battery management system (BMS) with high efficiency and safety. The battery has a weight of about 15 kg. Lift Foil suggests that drivers over the age of 16 and with a weight of up to 125 kg can effortlessly ride the electric Hydrofoil. A waterproof and buoyant Bluetooth remote control controls the engine and the remote control indicator informs the driver of the battery status and warns of overheating.
The Liftfoils eFoil Surfboard use automotive standard batteries, which should speak for safety and longevity. Liftfoils works with automotive engineers in the US to produce high quality batteries that can be used in water sports. Safety comes first. An elaborate battery management system has been developed for this purpose. The Liftfoils battery can be easily changed and recharged after about three hours. The IP68 waterproof housing is durable and promises durability and comfort. All options are modular and can be exchanged between the boards so you can adapt to your needs without buying a second eFoil for your Surfboard.
The motorized Foil uses a very efficient lithium ion battery to automotive standards to move silently. The motor is shaped like a torpedo to keep the resistance in the water as low as possible. Through the wing (Foil), which is on a mast under the surfboard, the board starts to fly. You steer with your body weight and accelerate with a waterproof Bluetooth remote control. An eFoil is suitable for a wide variety of water sports enthusiasts. Due to the different surfboard sizes, mast lengths and wings, it can be individually adapted. Kiters, surfers, eSurfers and wakeboarders will be able to cope with an e-foil very quickly, but even beginners can fly in 1 to 2 hours.
